A Home
Homes are Falcons,
They keep my family under their wing,
Prepared for the weather the clouds may bring,
Protects us from even the hail,
Large as can be.
A Falcon uses its wings to soar through the sky,
With it’s beautiful feathers,
Who catches the eye.
My mom, dad and me are part of my family
And my dog named Prince, who’s a goof,
But part of my family,
Is our Falcon home,
Who allows my family and me to soar to new heights,
And sometimes protects us from the hailish weather,
Even though the Falcon might lose a feather,
We can make many mistakes,
Goof around if we please,
But the Falcon will always be beside us,
With ease.
The Falcon protects us,
Let us sleep through the night.
That's what home means to me.
Everyone should have a falcon,
That keeps them under its wing,
Prepared for the weather,
Anything may bring.
Thank you,
Habitats For Humanity,
I hope everyone has the place,
Where a home puts a smile on everyone’s face.
