My Home…

A house has four walls, but a home, much more. For there is love, laughter and support to be shared. A house is cold and lonely, but a home much different, a house you see is all beams and boards, but a home you may ask, is held up by happiness, love and very much more. A house may provide shelter, but a home, a family. Every day I come home to see my mom and dad cooking food for me and my brother. A home for me is more than a house, it is a place where warmth and love have a home. On Chinese New Year everyone comes together, to gather, celebrate and eat, when we’re together frowns turn to smiles as everyone is happy to celebrate together, aroma sifts its way through my home filling me with happiness! At the end of the day home will always be my prize. Thank you habitat for humanity for making the world a better place!
