If home were the 5 senses

Scent If home were a scent, it would be my mom’s homemade bread. Or if I walked out of my room, I can smell the aroma of a delicious supper being made. Sound If home were a sound it would be animals making all sorts of sounds. Chickens squawking, cows mooing, dogs barking, sheep bleating, cats meowing all of those sorts of sounds. Because at my home there will never be a second where you don't see an animal. Cats in windows all the animals doing what they do. Sight If home were a sight it would be getting off the bus every day and seeing all of the animals my cat Patches running up to me. Seeing my mom as soon as I get home. Seeing my dad pull up as soon as I get off the bus. Touch If home were something you could touch it would be the feeling of the heated floor on a cold winter day. Or on a summer day, there will always be fur to touch baby lambs, baby kittens all the baby animals we have. Taste If home were a taste it would be my mom's homemade crapes on a Sunday morning. Or my mom’s homemade bread fresh out of the oven. Or just anything that she will make for us. Because I have allergies. It is hard for her to buy something and I can just eat it. Describing a home Everything in our home is ours and everyone is loved and cared for. The animals, kids, and parents. We all have a place to sleep in our homes. And again a house is not the same as a home. A house has walls, rooms, a roof, and windows. A home has all the same things but it has the people you love your things the place you live somewhere where you are safe. This is what home means to me.
