The Meaning of Home
A safe place to stay
Comforting warmth and safety
A place to call home
When I walk through the door I see an inviting place to stay. My dog runs up to me and wags his tail. A place where I am accepted and comforted. If I am happy or sad it is a place that is safe. It will protect me until death. It is a place to call home.
Fun games to play here
Smiles of joy on my face
A place to call home
After we fill up with food we decide to have a games night. I laugh along and my dog barks. It would be next to impossible to wipe the smile off my face. I am surrounded by people I love. It is a place to call home.
My room is comfort
It is my home in my house
A place to call home
Where I sleep is where I thrive. My room is my home inside my house. It is accepting. It changes to my liking. It is a part of my heart. It is a place to call home.
This home does not judge
It is living with us too
A place to call home
My family and my dog. My friends when they visit. This home does not judge. It helps us live. It knows our needs just by us being there. It plays tricks when we are in a good mood and is there for us when we are in a bad mood. It is a place to call home.
