Home is Different than a House Home is so much more than just a house. A house is just bricks, tiles, stones, and a roof over ones head. But home is where you feel safe, cozy and warmhearted. At home I can truly be myself without being concerned I might get judged. Everyday after school I think about going home, sometimes I have a bad day at school but my mom always comforts me and makes me feel valued. Family is a big part of home, it’s like sometimes you can tell them almost anything and they won't get weirded out or ponder about it. Everyone that does have a home should be grateful even if it’s not the most luxurious or big, you really are blessed to even have a home. Our surroundings affect our feelings a lot, at home we’re surrounded by the people we love and make us feel loved. Everytime I take one step into my home I always feel a warm welcome with my mom and dad always asking me how my day was. Even when you feel bad emotionally sometimes all you want to do is just stay at home. Home is so important to me because it’s a place where I took my first steps and filled with people I know and trust.
