The True Meaning of Home

A house is a place for you to stay but a home is a place where you feel safe. A house can be empty, cold and bare but a house is a place where laughter fills the air. A house can be blasted to pieces, burned or destroyed. A home is a place with family and love that can not be broken and should be enjoyed A house has four walls, a roof and a door, but a home is just so much more, it’s a place filled with joy and love where memories are made and loved ones are loved. It’s a place for kindness and sharing where everyone around you cares. A house can be a feeling, taste or smell where big feelings are felt, and you can be yourself. So that is the difference between house and home no two are the same and this is the true meaning of home. By: Laine
