What is Home? Home is not just a place, it's where you can cry and not be judged. A home is knowing you’re safe and with your loved ones. Home is knowing that you have a roof over your head. Home is a place where you can make memories and be yourself while getting respected. It’s where you can sit at the dinner table and laugh with each other. When you go home, you know that someone is waiting for you. When you go home it’s when you need help with your homework, and someone’s there for you. When you go home it's knowing that your home isn't perfect, but recognizing you still have room for improvement. When you go home, it’s knowing that someone will make you go have a shower because your hair is greasy. When I go home, I feel loved and joyful. When I go home, I know even though I have no siblings, a loved one can still have fun with me, whether that's baking, playing in the snow or even just being in the same room as me. I know that I will be loved forever. When I go home, I want to see my family. Sure there are days when you want to be alone or go out with friends but your family will be there for you, whether it's a mom or a dad or even grandparents, someone is still there for you. A home is when you know that you're going to be all alone at some point, but having fun until that moment. A home is when you feel alone, but all you have to do is go downstairs and talk to someone. A home is that awkward silence when everyone is on their devices. Home is love that can't be bought at a store.
