Home is a feeling

Home is a feeling, a feeling where you can always be you. A house can be cold and lonely, but a home will always be warm and cozy. A house has 4 walls and a roof, but a home is a safe and loved space. A house can be stormy, sad, and angry, but a home is colourful, bright and happy. Home is a place filled with memories, but a house is a place to rest or sleep. A home is where you get hugs and kisses, but a house can be dim with no joy. The spicy smell of my mom’s cooking makes me feel at home. Home is where you can be loved and tucked in bed. So, as you can see, a home is not an ordinary feeling, it’s a safe, happy and strong feeling. By: Keshvi
