Home

A house is a place with a roof and four walls, but a home is a place that’s cozy and safe. The people that are in that home with me make me feel happy and feel safe. They care for me; they eat with me, and they are a shield of love, laughter and joy. The smell of the freshly cooked food on the table makes me feel safe and loved. That’s what my family brings me and that’s what I call a home but that’s not all a home is. A home is also somewhere you can escape everything that’s around you. When I want to escape, I’ll go to my room and watch Netflix or YouTube, or I’ll play video games with my friends. To me that’s a home! By: Nixen
