The Meaning of Home Through My Koala
I love my koala stuffy,
Which always keeps me happy.
When I have nightmares that are scary,
My koala is always near me.
My koala and I are always together,
And we will forever love each other.
My koala is my best friend,
And I pray that our friendship never ends.
My koala is my home,
And that is what I will explain in this poem.
I dress up my koala in bows,
And it lights up my life, like a rainbow.
I like the eyes because they always shine,
I like the nose because it’s as beautiful as a rose.
Home is my koala who is forever mine,
My sweet stuffie, my cutie pie.
My koala is a boy,
And with him, the only emotion I feel is joy.
When he cuddles me up with his big fluffy ears,
I wake up with happy tears.
He is kind,
And when he is not, I don't mind.
My koala always listens to my dreams,
Even if it’s something as small as buying ice cream.
I will always give him a hug,
So hard that it could break a mug!
My koala is the best,
He is my home, where I rest my head on his chest.
Together we laugh,
And stay on the right path.
Koala, I love you—
Malak, me too.
But I know not everyone feels this way,
Some don’t have a safe place to stay.
Everyone deserves a home that’s bright,
Filled with love, and holding them tight.
The best friend of all,
With fuzzy arms, a round face—it’s my favorite place to fall.
And I hope one day, everyone will see,
A home as cozy as my koala is to me
