What Home Means To Me

Home to me is where I come back from school and my parents are waiting for me to hug them and tell them about my day and part of the day is magical. I have many ways to describe what home means to me. Two of my favorite words are happiness and love. I feel safe where I live because when I'm around my friends and family I’m never scared. I sleep in my nice comfy bed every night and I’m so grateful for that. Every day after school, I can’t wait to go home and see my family and play with my toys. In the summer at home, I have ice cream and see my friends and I felt magical just being with them felt like I had nothing else in the world to worry about. When I moved, I felt scared because I didn’t know what home would feel like at first, but then I got used to it and it became relaxing and comforting, like I never moved. Every night I feel safe and joyful just spending time with my loved ones matters. Home is accessible for me to always walk into and feel safe. This is what home means to me and how I feel about it.
