Why I Love Home
A house is a place you live. It’s a place that saves our life from soaking in the rain or freezing in the snow. But a house isn’t necessarily a home. To me, a home isn’t just about having a house with everything in it, but it’s also about feeling happy with what’s around you.
To me home means being happy with where you are. For instance, if you like the beach, the beach might feel like home. Another example is if you move houses, it won’t feel like home because a house isn’t necessarily a home. You’d have to get used to it first. Your home can also be a sibling, because he or she makes you feel safe and happy. Home can also be about what you are doing. For example, if you love reading, then when you are reading, you might feel safe, or in other words, at home.
A house can still feel like home if it’s filled with things or people you love. Your house can feel like home if you are used to it and like everything about it. Also, if you’ve lived there for a while, you’d be used to it and you’d start calling it “home”.
A home to most people is nothing like a house, it’s more important for your heart. Although houses are a good shelter and it is important, a home means something better…
