A home that's mine

Home to me is a place where I can express all my emotions with no pressure to be someone I’m not, where there’s no one to tell me I’m not good enough or make me feel ashamed of the way I am. Even though home isn’t always the best feeling it is still the place where I’m free to laugh and free to cry . Though after my parents divorce everything changed, home didn’t feel as comfortable as it did before, there was always an argument as I tried to drift off into a peaceful slumber . I love my home because it will always be a place that will provide security and warmth. Sometimes I love to just grab a book and read for hours just thinking about how cool the characters in the book are and just wish my life could be like theirs, but then when my mom comes in and asks if I want to watch a show with her and my sister I realize that I would never want my life to change from what it is now because I have everything I need with the comfort of my family. My home and family mean the world to me and I love them with every ounce of my heart. I just really hope that even if your home life gets hard your family will always be there to comfort you and to tell you you’re the best!
