A house may be boring with only four walls and a roof, But home is where happiness shines and anger goes poof A house might be cold like big white patches of ice, slush or snow, But a home is really fun and where boredom is an evil foe A house can be very lonely with only you and yourself, But a home is where memories are stored in thick books on your shelf A house is pretty quiet with only the sound of bird tweets, But home is where you can listen to your soft heartbeats A house might have a few windows that show the full moon at night, But a home has a door that opens to a dream that is joyful, happy and bright A house may be empty and must be bought, But a home is free, cozy and hot A house might have no emotions or any positives, But a home is nice where there are no negatives A house is very lonely and shows no emotions, But a home has many personalities on waves in the ocean Thank you so much Habitat for Humanity, for taking the time to build affordable homes in our municipality, You just changed everybody's mood and personality
