My House

A home is not a house, it is something different entirely. A house- a cold dark place with four walls, a place where nobody wants to call home, it is just a place you rent or buy, it has nothing in the space inside. A home- a calm or crazy place to protect you, a sanctuary for love & questions that open the space letting us thrive and learn. Delicious dinners & desserts make us so happy, and the cat does hilarious things that make us laugh, mine is not in one of the one-hundred ninety-eight countries it is in my heart and my families. And together we can help Habitat for Humanity build more homes so everyone will have a home to call their own!
