Why a Home is Important to Me

A home is important to me because as soon as you walk in you immediately get hit with the smell of my mom baking different pastries and the scent of my moms favourite candle scented as champagne toast from bath and body works. You can smell the assortment of different delicious foods and snacks and different candles that all have different scents and a bunch of other amazing smells that make you feel like you’re getting a great big hug. The smell of clean laundry fills my parents room and the amazing smell of soft rose mary covers my room in its amazing aroma that makes you want to take it all in as you inhale and exhale. You close your eyes as if you’re in a garden full of roses and bees buzzing around. This makes me feel amazing and joyful as I take it all in. This only covers my room and my home. All the scents in my home are different in different ways. I love all the smells at home. I have a lot of amazing sights at my home as well. I have all my adorable baby photos that seem to collect more dust every day. I have all my photos of my friends and family. My dance awards and certificates lay on display on my shelf. My favourite cartoons are always playing when I get home from school. I can see my favourite books laying on display that have bookmarks poking out. This may be in your home but I know for sure that this applies to my home. I can also feel a lot of things in my home. I can feel my comfy blanket that's so soft it feels like a soft fluffy cloud. When you snuggle up with it all your problems simply melt away into nothingness. You can feel my big squishmellow laying on my cozy bed with all the rest of my stuffies. When you walk in you walk in you get hit with warmth and love and amazing memories. These amazing feelings make my home a home. A home is important to me.
