Growing Up On The Farm

The meaning of home to me means shelter. I live on a farm which means a lot to me. It has been there for generations and generations, but as the generations go on the city gets closer and closer. I will be the last generation for the 110 years our farm has been here for. The meaning of home to me means a nice little place to live in. I’m pretty lucky to have my own room and an entire house. I’m happy to have my mom, my dad and my brother, Theo. I am super happy to have all the other stuff I have in my room and in my house. I also have two nice dogs. Their names are Charlie, which is a boy and Penny. She is a girl. I also have two cats Izzy and Sam. They are both girls. Every time on the weekend I go to my GG’s and Papa’s to eat breakfast and every time we go, we eat pancakes with chocolate chips. I am able to go on her iPad to watch some YouTube and then I go back to my room to lay in a bed and read a book out of my library. I’m very thankful for all the stuff I have in my room, in my house and on my farm. I’m grateful to help my dad on the farm, but our farm will likely get bought out in about 8 years. Losing this farm would be heartbreaking as I hope to one day raise my family the same way I was raised on my dairy farm. That is the meaning of home to me.
