Home

Here is what home means to me. For me home is a place where loved ones are, a place where everything I’m passionate about is. It also is a place where you can feel safe and comfortable. Where friends and family are. Home is also a place where you can be free, happy and silly and sad. It’s a place where you can let your emotions be uncontained. Home can also be anywhere as long as you feel safe, free and comfortable. It’s a place where you can be with friends, family and everyone you love. Home can be a boat, a house , an apartment or even a car! Anywhere can be your home as long as you have loved ones there. Home is where we build our families, laugh and cry, watch the sunrise, relax and rest. Home can be a place where you can be you and not be caged. Home is a place where you have shelter, warm home cooked meals and it can even be a place where you can find love. Home can be a place where flowers grow or where your tree house is. Home is the place where you love and long to be. Home is everywhere, it can be the place you grew up in, your tree house, or your cottage. It’s a place where your hobbies are, it’s a place where you can get health care and clean water. It’s a place where you can sleep, eat and do anything without being judged. Home can be a place where you can escape from reality, where you can have a movie night , where you can get cozy. Home is a place where you can care for yourself, where your anger can be released. Where you can be emotional, where you can read a book. Sometimes home is a place where you imagine a false dream, a dream that you wanted to live. Home is a place where you can be prideful of yourself, whether it’s religion, gender or anything else. Home is a place where communities form, a place where kindness blossoms. Home is a place where you can plan your future or look into the past. Home is a place where you grow and have harmony in. It can be a place where your history of childhood or adulthood remains. Home doesn’t have to be a place with four walls, a television or anything else. Home isn’t shape or size. Home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling that you cherish. This is what home means to me.
