What Home Means To Me

Whack! My dad smacks a cow with a hockey stick. I see my brothers fooling around in an empty pen with my dog Levi. The air smells like cow manure. Clank! Clank! I hear the cows getting loaded onto the trailer. I feel the plastic tagger in my hand. Click! Moo! The tag is in the calf's ear. When chores are done, we all head into the house. I take a big sniff! Mom says we're having lasagna for supper! I can already taste the creamy, melted cheese. I go to the living room to chill out and watch TV with my brothers. I get bored of watching T.V. so I go into my bedroom and just enjoy some peace, and quiet before supper. The lasagna supper tasted like the best thing I've ever eaten Once the kitchen is cleaned up from supper My entire family goes for a ride on our horses. The summer breeze feels warm on my skin. As I sit on my horse Tess, I feel so lucky to be able to call this farm home.
