The Meaning of Home.

In a hidden land, far away, is a world of fairies. In this land, was a hospital, and near the hospital was a hut, owned by a very poor couple that were about to be a family. Mary, and her lovely husband Doug, were worried, because they would have to sell their house to pay for the medical bills and all the baby’s necessities. Doug had finally found a job but the day the baby was supposed to come was on Doug's first day. Doug had to quit seeing as the baby was the most important thing to him. He couldn't miss it. When Mary had her baby, there was a look of disbelief from the nurses, and they rushed the baby out of the room. When the nurses came back into the room, they looked worried. It took Mary a minute to figure out what was wrong but, when she looked closer, she realized that her baby had no wings. The bills were very expensive, and with no home and no jobs, they were forced to hand the baby over to the one place they didn’t want him to go- the orphanage. They had had their first baby and just like that he was gone. The Willcocks were devastated. After the Wilcocks left their baby, he had grown up, but he was never given a name. The orphanage gave him the name Willberg since he didn't have one. Growing up, Willberg was bullied, not only for his name but the fact that he had no wings. He tried to explain why he was there, but nobody would listen. One day a nice lady came to adopt a kid to live with her. She was looking for a nice, well-behaved child that could keep her house clean and be productive. The nice lady had her eye on Willberg and decided to adopt him because he looked like a nice kid who would behave well. The kind lady said, ‘I would love to meet that kid’ and signed the papers. When they got home, they got to know each other. The lady's name was Marrisa, and she didn't like Willberg’s name, so she changed it to Nathan.
