The Meaning of Home

For me home feels like a lot more than I can say. One thing that stands above most of them is my pet cat Tazz. Tazz is orange and when I first got him he was a kitten. It started when I told my mom one day that we should get a kitten. My mom said that we should. So one day we went to the pet store but they didn't have any kittens. The reason why we wanted to get a kitten is because a kitten would live longer than a grown up cat. One day my mom found a video of an orange kitten being tickled by his owner. So me and my mom drove over to her house. Once we met, she said that she heard we are going to name him Tazz. So then when we were driving home for the whole way if the car was in motion at all Tazz was going meow meow meow. Tazz is the type of kitten where when we go out for like a couple days or a week and he is perfectly fine and when we're coming home sometimes we're not even halfway down the hallway and we hear meow meow meow. My mom actually proved that by recently setting up a camera that she bought. The camera allowed us to hear and talk to Tazz. Sometimes when I'm gone Tazz lays on the couch that I always bounce on or he lays on my bed. The reason why is because when cats are alone they sometimes lay on spots where their owner is because it makes them feel safe. Sometimes Tazz jumps onto the window sill where my mom's flowers are and sometimes knocks them down. I really like to play with Tazz and he's my favorite animal. We've recently been planning to get a second cat but not anymore. Overall, my family also loves Tazz. When we go out for a week or longer we give Tazz to the bedford cat clinic. He is usually pretty spicy but he acts ok. When we get back the person usually gets my mom to put Tazz in the cat carrier. Tazz is now a grown up cat but my family and I still love him. Sometimes I like to torment Tazz and he gets right excited. Sometimes Byron (my stepdad) calls Tazz Tazzacis. One time Tazz crawled under the sink. Byron yelled at him which also scared me. Also for some unknown reason, 99.99% of the time when my mom leaves my bedroom after waking me up, Tazz runs after her and grabs her leg. He never does it to me though. So far we’ve gotten several toys for Tazz. We’ve also gotten a litter genie for dirty litter. We even have a wooden floor cabinet for Tazzes litter box. It also has 2 small doors (even though we never open or use them.). I think I got Tazz in 2023.
