The Meaning of Home

What's the meaning of home? For me the meaning of home isn’t just a house where you sleep, for me, home is a safe place where you can expand and stretch your imagination, a place where everything becomes possible, where you don’t feel judged, where you feel good. It’s a place full of memories and learnings, some bad, like when you cut yourself by accident, and some good, like when you go to Canada’s Wonderland. For me home isn’t just about how good your house looks, for me, home is the place where you come from, your culture, your learnings, home is what prepares you for life, home is a place that fills you with joy, home is a part of you. Your home, your friends and family, they push you up, and you push them up. So one day you can look back and say, "that's what led me, that’s what pushed me all the way here.” Home is not the same as house, home is memories, friends, emotions, family, culture, but most of all, home is you.
