A Home Not A House

Home is a cheerful, joyous place. When you walk in you can feel and see the love in the home. In the cold winters the house is protected from the snow and that feeling of being protected warms you to your bones. Every person has a place to relax in a cheery cozy room. The kitchen is always busy getting set for the days to come. Downstairs everyone is working on something. It's almost never neat, but always comforting. So the meaning of home is for me is a house filled to the brim with love and affection. It's a place where happiness and sadness part ways. Where temper tantrums and arguments make things work out. For me that's what makes it a home not a house.
