Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you can hold memories and feel safe and comfortable. A house has four walls and only one small room. Home is a place where you can rest, sleep and feel warmth wash over you as you sit by a fireplace in a home. A house might be dark with no electricity and unsafe. In a home you might hear the humming of the fridge. You can taste water when you drink it. You might see paint, metal and tiles. In a house you feel lonely and sad. In a home you laugh and see your family. Your family might be your sister or brother, father or mother. That is the meaning of home to me. By: Harvey
