Home Essay By Damian Ekekhomen To me a home is wherever your family is, where you feel comfortable and where you feel welcomed. If those qualities do not apply in youre home then it is not a real home. If friends make you comfortable then they are your home. Different homes have different relationships, some homes have people who are not related by blood. But if they do not feel welcomed because of their relationship with others it is not a home to them. If somebody is not being treated fairly in their home whether they are related or not. When that happens a person feels like they don’t belong there. But can find a new home through friends and Extended members of family, who might understand them more. I am going to tell how things work in my home. First of all I will start with its members; There is my father, mother, me and m 4 younger brothers. In my family we try our best to make everyone who comes into our house feels welcomed which is what I think everyone else should do. Whenever something wrong happens at school, my mother is always there to listen, she makes me feel like I belong in my home. We also divide the work so everybody is doing something. For example: me and my younger brother Aaron both take turns each day so its fair between us. That is how my home works and how others should try and make it like that. What I want to say is that everybody in this world needs a home. Without a place to call home we don’t know what to do, because a home is where we have special people, people who are dearest to us. Most people think a home and a house are the same thing, but their not, because a house is where you live, while a home is where family is or where you know you belong in this world. A house is a specific structure, meanwhile a home can be anywhere, it can be your house, country, city, town or anywhere else you consider a home. In conclusion a home is meant for everyone. It also is very import to each and everyone of us. Without a home we wouldn’t feel loved, we’d feel like an outcast, homes have families which we need not to feel like this. People who have no parents and people who don’t even know their parents mostly feel this way more than others. But if they feel loved or welcomed and belonging somewhere whether it is an orphanage or a new family. So I hope with this Essay we can all know the true meaning of having a home.
