The Golden Child

The Story of Bob My name is Bob and here is the story of how I became homeless. When I was sixteen my parents said that I was a failure, I could not even do simple math at my high school. I got the lowest grades and even the grade nines were smarter than me. I got bullied all the time. Sometimes I wished I had never been born. After I graduated, I got a job at nearby restaurant I was the waiter, but even though the job was straightforward I kept finding ways to mess it up like, spilling water on the costumers, dropping plate of food and even serving the wrong food to the wrong tables. In the morning, I had a job but in the evening I did not. My parents were furious because I got fired on my first day, but I did not care, this happened all the time. But one thing I was annoyed about was that my brother was sitting on the couch smiling at me. My brother was the younger one and from my experience the younger sibling is always the more important sibling. I know that because my parents never yelled at him, never told him to do chores, and he just sat around all day and never did anything even though he was only two years younger than me. It was like he was the golden child. A few days later, I accidentally overheard my mom and dad talking about kicking me out of the house. Without thinking, I slammed open the doors to confront my parents, they were shocked that I overheard them. I asked them why they had to kick me out and they said they were fed up with me because I was no use to them. I ran out of the room, packed up my belongings and left my home. I was devastated that my family would just kick me out, but I felt like I made the right choice. I stayed at my friend's apartment for the night. I had to make money quick I could not just live there for the rest of my life I had to find a home somewhere else.
