What home means to me
A home for me can feel so many different ways like happiness, joy and comfort. Like when you're going to bed and you feel safe and at ease. A house is just a place, it’s not always a place where you feel loved, or feel like you belong. A home for me is a safe place. Where you feel like you can be yourself. A house is just a shelter with walls, windows, a roof, and a door. A place with your personal belongings like clothes, shoes and furniture. A home for me is where the people you love are, like maybe friends, family or even pets. Like maybe you're at your best friend's house you might think of where they live, your home too. Like my best friend's house I consider my home too. A house can have family members but what matters is whether or not you consider them family. A home for me is where you have memories like waking up on christmas day and running to your parents room and waking them up to go open presents or like when you and your family are sitting around the table laughing and eating dinner. That is for me what makes a home from a house. Thank you so much Habitat For Humanity for changing so many people's lives and for taking the time to read this.
