A House is Not A Home

A house is not a home. A house is a place to stop, a home is a place to stay. One may move away from their house, One does not move away from their home. A house is a place that becomes a home, it becomes one after someone has lived there. A house has essentials but a home has more. A home should be clean enough to be healthy but messy enough to be happy. A home is full of emotion, a house is not. A home is somewhere that is never empty. A house can be bought but a home cannot. A home is a place that is loved. A home is something that is just big enough to fit a family. Habitat for humanity does not just build houses to live in, they build HOMES.
