Home Is Love, Love Is Home
A home is where you feel safe. It should be your safe place. A home is filled with memories, laughter, and comfort. It’s where you are fulfilled. Although a house may be fancy, and cool, a home is a place where the smells of sweet treats still linger in the rooms. The time, love, and smiles are why you can say, home sweet home. It doesn’t matter where you are, it matters who you're with. From a mansion to a tent, it doesn’t matter as long as you're with the people you love. At home, you should be understood, heard, and happy. Your family holds a place in your heart, which is special. You tell them stories, play games, and talk with them during dinner. A family is your home.
Home means being able to sit down and have a long talk with your family. It means to come home from school and be welcomed without questions. It means your family will always be proud of you. Home means to always be supported no matter what you choose to do. It means cuddling up on the sofa, watching a movie and eating popcorn on a random Friday night. It means to not be afraid of being yourself and being accepted for who you are. It means being trusted and looking at who you are now, and not your past. A home makes you feel worthy, and good about yourself. Your family is a part of you. A family should be full of love as long as they're together.
As my point stands, every home is perfect. Whether it’s big or small, long or tall. Cozy or bold, new or old. It doesn’t matter as long as you love it.
Sincerely, Ryder
