What home is to me By Isabella Kidd Gr 5 St. James the Apostle Student

To me home is where family is. A place where the people you love are all together. Home is where you laugh, have fun, and do things with your loved ones. Home is not just a physical place; it is when you are with the people you love. Animals, bugs, and a lot of living things have a home with their families. To me it is important for people to have a home because it keeps people safe. Everyone needs to be safe and have a roof over their head. It is sad that people do not have a home. Everyone deserves to have a home. If I could, I would help those in need and those who do not have a home. I believe that people should help those who live in our own city, that do not have a home. So many people do not have enough money to get the supplies to build a house. It is unfair they do not get to experience a safe and loving space to call home. The cost of getting a house is terrible. And because of that, many people cannot afford to have a safe space with their loved ones to call home. That is what home is to me.
