What Home is to Me
When I think about home I think of warmth a childhood safety where memories form. My family is the most important people in my life, and I love them the most. I would do anything for them in a blink and without a thought.
My sibling are goofy, fun, and funny. My secrets will stay hidden when I tell them. They are the people that make me laugh even when I am down, and they are my ride or die.
My mom is loving, brave, beautiful and kind. I do not remember much of her as she died when I was just six to cancer. But I know she’s looking down on us telling us she’s proud of us.
My dad is thoughtful, caring, loving and always there for us. He does so much for us and I’m so grateful for that. He’s my role model and I’m going to always be there for him. I don’t know what I would do if he wasn’t there.
My friends, I’m so grateful for my friends. They’re loyal, encouraging and kind. At first I was nervous to come to a new school and meet new people but I am so happy now.
A house is made of walls and beams, a home is built with love and dreams. I want to thank Habitat For Humanity for what they have done for all of Canada and for people that needs homes.
Thank you
