A Home is Not a House

A house is just 4 walls and a roof, But a home you can call your own. A home holds all your memories That will forever last, But a house can just be in the past. There are a bunch of houses on a street, But only one home where you meet. A home is a safe place to learn and play, A home can be by a bay. A home is a place with delicious food, That will put you in a better mood. A house can be cold, But a home can hold. A house can have a gnome With the future unknown, But a home is comfortable, It holds all your stuff, It is a place where you and your Siblings can play rough. A home holds your family with lots of love, It is as peaceful as a dove. A home can be your friend or your family too, It is a place where you can truly be you.
