Shelter

I was raised in a household of three. Just Dad, Mom, And I. Something I had changed my life forever, and that was, A Maximum Destruction toy. It was the start for my love of monster trucks. It will always have a special place in my heart. Three years in, my mom and dad saved up for a new home. Here it is, our new home. But something bizarre happened. It was odd. Winnipeg never gets tornadoes. WOOP! My phones ring tone issued a warning. The National Weather Service has reported a tornado warning for Northern Winnipeg, at 3:58 PM. It was the worst storm of the year, with golf ball sized hail, which ruined my home. Twenty-five walls, ten doors, painted peach. Then, two broken windows. A family of five living sheltered inside. Life is interesting. As everyone with a home is different. My home is special, and so is yours. My basement is massive with a gigantic screen to watch movies like Twisters, or Into the Storm. The storm that ruined my house has made me enthusiastic and fearless about storms. My room is special with five cardboard cars, known as Interceptors. Which is hard to make, as it took about 5 hours for each one. My home is interesting and worthwhile buying and protecting. Habitat for Humanity, homes need to be built well. As they shelter people from mother nature’s fury!
