Joyful Home

Homes are joyful, kind, and safe. My home is a safe place where I feel loved, and powerful in different kinds of ways. My parents take care of me when I hurt. I give chances to play football and hockey where my skills are amazing. My home is filled with treasures. One time I found a box. I opened it. I saw my dad's brother’s watch from 1986. It was so shiny, and I still have it at my house. There were other boxes. Stacked up. I opened another box, and I saw my mom's picture when she was a baby. I opened yet another box and I saw my dad's watch. My house has a playroom, gym, and an office. I love having so many spaces to play and be myself! Home is that special place to live in. We should be thankful that we have a home. Thank you to Habitat for building homes so that other people can feel powerful, find treasures, and be themselves.
