My Home is my Everything

Home or house? What’s the difference between a home and a house? They are very similar. They both are places, they both start with a letter ’’h’’ and they both end with a letter ‘’e’’. I forgot a very important part of home. A home is where you feel safe, loved and welcomed. A house is no where special. It’s a place you occupy. It has windows, doors and furniture. You can move from house to house to house, but a home will always stay with you. It has memories, funny, cute, happy and exciting ones. There’s joy and love in the air. Love is a strong word, but it’s true. My home is filled with love and the people that I love. I feel comfort, I feel I belong, I feel safe and I feel protected. A house will never have a feeling of home. It’s not comparable to a home because a home is where my heart is. I can’t imagine living without a home, but unfortunately some people are not as lucky. It would change their lives forever,to be able to call a home their own. Habitat for Humanity helps many families in need. With our help, we can positively impact many lives. My home is my everything.
