Home Means Everything

To me, home is a safe place where I can stay, where I can always laugh, learn, and play. Every time I arrive home to the aroma of a hot dinner, It brings me joy and I feel like a winner. When I go to bed, I feel the warmth of the sheet, It’s tucked in tight and so very neat, As I rest, I hear something in the distance, Birds catch food for the night, for instance. I sleep and dream of people without a home, As they have to sleep in the cold, all alone, I feel so sad for people like this, If only we could help if only we notice. I wake up with a smile so big and so bright, But then I remember my dream last night, The thought of it makes me so very sad, For a second I stopped being glad. I just want to help and do anything I can! For everyone around the world whether woman or man, If they are big or small, short or tall, We can start now, even something small. We can grow bigger and so will our hearts, To help everyone with our smarts, Together we will accomplish our goal in what we´ve done, Just think of it, the whole idea could be fun won't it be fun? Everyone should have a home No one should be alone, Everyone should get to feel, The joy and happiness of a fresh new meal.
