What is a Home?

You may be wondering what the difference between a house and a home is Let me explain in my own words what that is to me. A house is a building with four walls and a roof A building with no one to call it their home The house could be empty waiting to be owned But that can change It can be a home, a place where the people inside can feel safe and loved It won't be empty anymore And that house could be yours Make it your home with family pictures hung on the fridge or make your own tradition of watching television while making dinner Your home could be a house or a place you’re always at Your home will have the people you love inside soon enough You can share laughter and joy together The best memories you have made can be captured in a picture and then hung up for everyone to see Make your home however you like Your house is not a house anymore when you make memories with friends and family, when joy and happiness is shared it is now a home.
