Make a House a Home

When you walk in a house there is a feeling you don't get when you walk into a home. If you walk into a home, there is a warm embrace of safety. There is love when you see your home, you feel welcome. Your home is where you make memories, whether it is because of your family, you, or just something in your home. A house is just a building, but a home is where you say your first words and where you take your first steps. When I’m at home, I play games with my friends, talk to my family, laugh, eat and just have fun. When I’m in a house, I can't do any of that; it feels empty, boring, small and sad. Even though a house and a home are very different, we can still make a house a home.
