It’s Not Just A Roof Over My Head

Having a home full of safety and peacefulness means more to me than just an address. As I close my eyes and rest at night, I’m thankful I don't feel the sense of fight. Being around family is comfort all on its own, and makes me feel happy because of all the love I am shown. Inviting and cozy are some of the reasons I feel blessed, but to have the sound of laughter is what makes up my nest. Though I may not live in a big fancy place, what is provided for me is my own space. As I grow, I learn my surroundings are secure because with my family around it’s always the cure. There isn’t a day that goes by, where I take it for granted that I am dry. Because it’s not just a roof over my head, it’s a structure I call home instead.
