My Home The snow fell and the piercing wind howled in my cold icy face as I rushed home. I opened the door, took a big sniff and I smelled COOKIES! I looked around my house to find them. As I tippy toed to the kitchen, the aroma got stronger and stronger. My mom and sister were baking chocolate chip cookies and giggling. My little sister glanced at me and grinned. Her chocolate brown eyes lit up and she raced to me like a cheetah. Her warm hands wrapped around me like a sloth hugging a tree. As I hugged her back,my sister held my hand with pride as she led me to her room. as we came in her room we went to her closet a flash of nostalgia flashed by me as I remembered the closet me and my sister decorated .As we were joyfully playing away with my sisters dolls,we suddenly got a wave of hunger flash by us and the aroma of couscous (a moroccan traditional dish) me and my sister connected eyes and raced down stairs to inhale the food as we went down to the kitchen table we saw the glorious couscous sitting there. I was about to lunge at it and chomp on the food when I saw my mom with my favorite soda coca cola! I was so happy I could just…. BARF? As my mom gracefully handed me a cup of coke and served me a plate of couscous. we put on moroccan music and started eating.as we ate and joked around me and my sister finished our food and raced to the tv, but of course I got last place, as my sister ginned in joy that she to to watch on the tv. I was defeated so I crawled up the stairs like a cat As I reached my room I closed the door and changed into my comfy pajamas and bellyfloped on my bed. I was getting comfy, I turned on spotify and played my favorite album. I got out my sketch book and started doodling., an hour passes of me doodling and believe it or not, it was already my bedtime. So my mum told me to go to bed and brush my teeth.As I walked to the washroom to brush my teeth with my sister, we finished brushing our teeth and I gave my sister a big hug and said “ good night celine” I walked to my room and belly flopped to my bed,l pulled on my blanket and started snoring in a flash Thank habitat of humanity for making homes, you've made a better nation!
