The Emotions of Home

Home has a much deeper meaning than just a normal shelter or house. It is something that gives us intangible emotions, a place where nobody can judge your thoughts and opinions. Our homes are all different, whether it’s at the top floor of a towering apartment or a small bungalow in the middle of a busy street, but they all share one common aspect - they give us a spot to make everlasting memories that will stay with us forever, even if we move to another home. Homes are not defined by how much detail or decorations it has, but rather the experiences and moments made within it. My home is always a place that will stay with me forever, no matter what stage of my life. I know that there are countless mansions and residences that are much more elaborate and decorated than ours, but the tenderness and warmth that it bequeaths cannot be bought with money. My home represents our family’s unique diversity and culture, such as flamboyant red decorations to celebrate a joyful Lunar New Year. But not everybody might be as fortunate as we are. Although we might not realize it, there are innumerable people that don't have the amenities and even basic necessities that we are able to receive. Many homeless people uncomfortably live in cramped spaces with a meager amount of food, hoping that they can roughly live through the freezing temperatures. Their futures’ are much more limited than ours, and their journey will also be much more difficult than ours. However, they are worthy enough to deserve a home just like us. Everybody deserves a loving home.
