Home is a very Precious Place

There is no place like home, It sits still like a garden gnome, But a home is way more, I feel comfort as I walk in the door. As I come home I am glad that I am not cold, I think about the people who have no one to talk to as they grow old, I am glad that I have a place to go, and don’t have to sit in the cold, cold snow. Home is the heart's nesting place, It is a loving and kind space, Filled with precious memories, It always has, for centuries. Home is not just a place, it’s a feeling, Where food is always delicious and appealing, I am valued all the time, Where I can always reach my prime.
