What Home Means To Me
A home is a home,
No matter the shape,
No matter the size,
Everyone deserves a home.
Home is where you belong,
Where you’re loved,
Where there is always someone with open arms,
To comfort your worries and sorrows.
You smell the aromatic spices,
And hear the pitter-patter of the rain,
Against the window pane,
And know that home is a safe haven in this tumultuous world.
The entryway, a jumble of emotions,
To the living room, where stories roam,
A home is a place where memories are made,
A space where connections and bonds thrive.
Where warmth and joy is untold,
A personal space for reflection.
When ambitions and ideas ignite,
A bird from guidance and help shows the way.
A home has peace and tranquility,
It’s a sanctuary where you can heal.
A scene of positivity in our difficult world,
It never stops being such a comforting embrace.
Though tensions can mount, and stresses can be persistent,
A home means memories and togetherness.
When you feel upset or like giving up,
A home can break your emotional waterfall.
Homes are there for you no matter what,
Through the ups and downs of your ambiguous life.
From the warmth and memories shared in four walls and a roof,
To the sense of love, safety, and belonging, Everyone deserves a home.
