Home is Where your Heart is
Home is a spot where you belong,
Memories lie in this place,
Comfort fills the space,
Safe, loving, yet so strong.
As I step into my room,
No creepy shadows loom,
As I drift away to sleep,
While crickets chirp and cheep.
Not everyone can have a place,
They just can’t afford it,
No place where their room is lit,
Looked down at and disgraced.
Apartments, burrows or nests,
It’s always the best place to rest,
Wherever you might roam,
There’s always no place like home.
