The Meaning Of Home
My home is welcoming and warm
My home is a place where calmness starts to form
My home is comfy and safe
My home is a wonderful place
I can smell my parents preparing dinner
I can hear my brother yelling at his computer
I can see my adorable dog
As she jumps around like a frog
There is wonderful food
Nobody is ever rude
So many smells fill the air
All the food is there to share
I have my own comfy bed
A very nice place to rest my legs, body and head
It’s a place to read my book
All the adventures, it gets me all shook
It gets me sad to think,
About all the people without a home and that stink
No delicious foods
Always in horrible moods
So if you have a home learn to be grateful
And please don’t be hateful
If you have a home you are blessed
If not you’ll probably be stressed
So next time you think of home
Remember that you are lucky to have a safe place to roam
And instead of being cold and on the street,
You have someplace to live in that is very sweet
