As I walked out of the school, I was thinking about what home means to ME? As I entered my home I told my mother about the assignment. “Oh, that’s great honey! Go work on it in your room,” my mother said. I went up in my room and started working on it. I typed, “The meaning of home means...” Then I paused. I still didn't know the meaning of home is. I ran down the stairs and asked my mother, “What is the meaning of home?” “Well, the meaning of home is different for everyone. The meaning of home to us means being loved and having a cozy place to live,” she replied. I thanked her then ran up the stairs into my room. I continued to work on the meaning of home project. After writing what my mother had told me I needed one more sentence. I ran back down the stairs to ask my father the same question. “What is the meaning of home?” I asked. “Well, the meaning of home is different for everyone. The meaning of home to us means to have a place to live freely and have a room over our heads,” he replied. I thanked him then ran back up the stairs. I continued working on my project. I finished it and submitted to the school. The next day at school we got our marks on the project. “Here is your mark, good job," the teacher said with a smile. I learned that the meaning of home is having loved ones near us and a nice cozy place to live.
