What Home Means to Me
What home means to me is a place of freedom, where I can play with my siblings and be comforted. It is also a place when we read the bible. It is a place where we play family games and we have a lot of warmth in the basement, where it holds our woodstove so that's where we get our heat. It is a place of relaxation and we cozy up by the fireplace and watch a little TV. Home is a spacious place too. Where I can run around. We have a lot of food and water, so we don’t starve or thirst. We have enough beds so we have a good space to sleep at night. We have some neighbors and some wildlife around our house. We even have bunnies under the patio! It doesn’t matter to me if we have a big house or a small house. It only really matters if we have a house or not.
I also have a bed to sleep in,to restore my energy, and I have a shelter and a safe place. So I won’t have to worry about anything. It is quiet and peaceful. Nothing really happens on my street. No sirens or fires happen. We have a car, a good school, and a lot of money. Home also means a space where we encourage people. We also have a large backyard. We have a trampoline and a basketball hoop. We have a big garden that grows plenty of vegetables, and my dad goes hunting every year. My mom makes bread every now and then. If I didn't have a home. I wouldn't be as happy as I am right now. I can't imagine us without a home. In conclusion that is what home means to me.
