My Home

I'm blind only blackness which hides the shadows and monsters, waiting to be set free. I can’t sleep or else I’ll see them in my dreams. But, there’s no need. I feel the warmth of my blanket The little light shines so bright but sometimes it flickers so I look to my right. There stands my sister, tall, pretty. She's my life, without her I’d have nothing, I’d be nothing, but sometimes we fight. So I look to my left, there stands my father, brave , courageous, my dream to be healthy and happy and peaceful when alone, but sometimes he leaves, I wonder where he goes. So I look up and down, back and front, all around. Where’s my mom , did she leave too? So I look in my heart there's that flickering light that shines so bright but once again it flickers, but this time it goes out, so I look deeper. I see my mom she's the one who protected me from all those monsters and shadows, she’s the one I love, my only true love, she's my life, my dream and most of all My home.
