If Home Were the Five Senses

If home were the 5 senses here is what it would look like my eyes.If home was a touch, it would feel like my mom and dad’s hugs when I get home from school.If home was a sound, it would sound like the laughter of me and my sister’s when we have our talks.If home was a sight ,it would look like me and my dad watching a scary a movie at 1 o’clock at night when the rest of my family is asleep.If home was a taste ,it would taste like mom’s home cooked lasagna that me and my family love.If home was a smell, it would a smell like the tea and cake coming from my kitchen on a Friday night.I’m so happy and grateful that I have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, and food on my table every night.I’m so glad to have a loving and caring family. Lastly,I’m super grateful to have my best friend always by my side, always there for me, always there to make me laugh, make me feel better, and always there for me when I need a shoulder to cry on.I love our Saturday night movie hang outs,I love our Sky Tag hangouts,I love our 4 hour shopping sprees, and mostly I love hanging out with her. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving people that are going through a rough patch a new home and a chance to start over.
