Where home is
I can remember the first time I saw my home. It was blank and plain. Nothing was special about it, but now my home is different. It has memories building up in our home. Everything to the kitchen to the floors. Everything I look at can have a memory. To my first ever steps, or when my first tooth fell out. I remember my first birthday. It took a month for my mom to finish setting everything up. Painting the walls and making her own food. They can be small memories or large. Good or bad. It builds my home. My mom cooking and my sister's annoying voice. The sound of the loud vacuum makes it even more chaotic. All these sounds are annoying and chaotic, but that makes me feel like I'm at home. If everything was quite, I would feel lonely, and ask myself,¨wheres my family?¨
This is what makes me feel at home, and that's what builds it up. So thank you Habitat for Humanity for making homes for others. You've made a big change for lots of people.
